Branko Tomovic studied acting at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York and was first seen on the big screen in the lead role of the award winning American Film Institute/Sundance drama 'Remote Control' for which he received the OmU-Award at the Potsdam Film Festival. Branko's first film won many international awards, including a nomination for a Student Academy Award.

He was honored by The British Filmmakers Alliance as Best International Actor and won numerous awards and nominations on the international film festival circuit, including London Independent Film Festival, British Horror Film Festival, San Francisco Short Film Festival and Philadelphia Film Festival.
